The PLU workbook is a student workbook that begins each week with a reading passage about a teenager who has become significant in his/her community by beginning a thriving business, making a remarkable discovery, inventing a useful product, starting a community outreach program, or bringing attention to issues that are present in society. Each passage is accompanied by daily ELA questions that are based upon the passage. The problems are in state test format and aligned to CCRS. Day 1 takes about 15 minutes to complete. Days two through four take about five minutes to complete. Day five of each week is a writing prompt.
