The essential questions for this unit are 1) How do authors approach similar themes in similar or different ways? 2) How does an author show the overall point of view of a narrator? 3) How does each part fit into the overall structure of a text and add to the development of theme, setting, and tone. (RL5, 6, and 9) All other RL standards are embedded daily.
