Books for Hattie
When a child does not become a proficient reader, that child is doomed to a life of poverty, crime, or dependence on others as an adult. To this end, not only does Triumph invest our time in the coaching of reading teachers, but we go the extra mile by putting books into the hands of children. Knowing how to read without adequate practice does not lead to success. Therefore, we partner with McAlister’s Deli in East Hattiesburg to put books into the hands of the community’s children, not just to read while they remain at the restaurant, but to take with them, as theirs, when they leave.
